One of our KMWorld & Intranets 2008 attendees asked me what I thought was the best basic KM book.  I thought I would throw that out to all KM professionals and practitioners and see what list of books we could create.  Look forward to your thoughts.

One Response to “Best Basic KM Book?”

  1. Gordon Vala-Webb says:

For complete newbies I’d suggest “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Knowledge Management”. It gives you a good overview of “standard” KM (explains the jargon, the different bits, etc.)

You would need something else to use to develop your strategy – that would depend on your industry, your organization’s size, your business model, etc.
